Albion Rovers are without suspended Steven Canning and the injured duo of Todd Lumsden and Iain Smith for the visit of Annan in the Third Division.Striker John Gemmell is struggling with a knee injury and will require a fitness test before he can be included.

Annan will be without the injured pair of John MacBeth and Graeme Bell for the trip to Coatbridge.

Athletic are looking to hold on to second place, which Rovers would claim if they can take all three points.

Albion Rovers manager Paul Martin: "There is no pressure on us as we have exceeded expectations already by challenging for the title so late into the season.

"Annan's expectations are a bit different as they stated they wanted the top four quite early in the season and, to be fair to them, they have handled that pressure well."

Annan Athletic manager Harry Cairney: "Albion Rovers are always a tough team to play and they are going into this game full of confidence on the back of beating the league leaders 3-0.

"Both sides are capable of beating each other and it will all be about which side turns up on the day.

"We had to show a lot of grit to get the three points against Clyde last Saturday and this one will be exactly the same."
