Albion V Brechin at Cliftonhill Stadium - Match Preview

Albion at full strength

Albion manager Todd Lumsden has a full squad to choose from as Brechin City visit Cliftonhill.

Lumsden will make changes but not solely as a result of the weekend's 3-0 defeat to East Fife.

"I said before the East Fife game that this was a huge period for us as we had three games in a week to start moving up the table," he said.

"Unfortunately it did not start too well but we have the chance to make amends against Brechin and then Stranraer on Saturday.

"We only have a small squad and I will make changes and the side that does go out will need to be a stronger in defence and in attack."

Brechin winger Derek Carcary is a doubt for his side.

Carcary sustained a leg injury in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Alloa that saw him substituted early in the second half.

Knee injury victim Aaron Murdoch is again ruled out as the Glebe Park side look to continue with the upward trajectory that started with new manager Ray McKinnon's arrival.

McKinnon said: "The players have been terrific since I came here and they have been getting good results as a reward.

"We could move up the table by winning at Albion but it will not be easy as it will be a hard slog on a heavy pitch.

"If the players keep doing what they have been doing I am sure we will do okay."
