Albion V Brechin at Cliftonhill Stadium - Match Preview

Dallas out for Rovers

Bottom of the table Albion Rovers will be without in-form goalscorer Chris Dallas against visitors Brechin City as the striker injured a foot during last weekend's 3-1 defeat from Ayr United.

The Coatbridge side are also missing Alan Reid and Barry Russell through suspension as well as the long-term injury victims Mick O'Byrne (ankle) and Tony Stevenson (knee).

Manager Todd Lumsden has warning his players that time is running out.

"We have had chances to get closer to East Fife and not taken them," he said. "We have four games left and need to win at least three of them.

"We can hit good heights but we have to hit the good heights for the entire 90 minutes and not just for 45."

Brechin go looking for the win they require to secure a play-off place with goal-grabbing midfielder Alan Trouten available after a ban.

Not such good news for manager Ray McKinnon are the continued absences of Ewan Moyes (hip) and Craig Molloy (knee) with hamstring injuries also ruling out Gareth Rodger and Derek Carcary.

McKinnon said: "It would be terrific to finally get over the finishing line and make sure we are in the play-offs. It has been a terrific effort from the players to turn things around in my six months here.

"The boys are excited about extending our season but it will not be easy as I reckon that Albion are a much better side that their bottom of the table position indicates. We need to play well to win."
