Albion V East Fife at Cliftonhill Stadium - Match Preview

Duo banned for Albion

Bottom club Albion are without suspended duo Kevin Green and Peter Innes as they meet East Fife at Cliftonhill just three days after the game was postponed because of snow.

An ankle injury keeps Mick O'Byrne out and a knee problem means Tony Stevenson is also missing, with manager Todd Lumsden looking for his side to again show the quality they have.

East Fife are the side closest to them in the table, and Lumsden said: "In our last home game we showed how good we can be when we saw off Stenhousemuir.

"We have not reached that level often enough this season but if we can do it again we can beat East Fife. This is a massive game and a win would start to tighten things up at the foot of the table."

East Fife will be without Stevie Campbell (ankle) when they travel looking to end an eight-game winless run.

A lack of games following illness keeps Gareth Wardlaw out, with manager Billy Brown looking for two things to change in order for his men to succeed.

Brown said: "I have to be fair to the boys and say that they have not carried any luck at all recently and hopefully we can get a break against Albion Rovers.

"One thing that we can control is our defending and that needs to improve as we can give away some cheap goals. If we stop doing that then we are in with a chance of winning and moving away from our hosts."
