Donnelly debut on the cards

Albion Rovers will start with new signing Ryan Donnelly in their line up against Montrose after the paperwork was completed for his move from Brechin City.

Manager James Ward is likely to be without Mark McGuigan as moves to bring the Partick Thistle player in on a permanent basis following a loan spell are on hold for just now.

Peter Innes (leg) and Pat Walker (ankle) both remain out, with Ward saying: "Ryan has been brought here to score goals and therefore he will start. I will be making a few changes as things are needing freshened up after a below par performance against Annan last weekend."

Montrose travel to Cliftonhill minus four players. Paul Watson and Terry Masson are suspended and Stephen McNally and Lloyd Young are absent due to work commitments.

Manager Stuart Garden said: "We have had two excellent results and performances against Albion Rovers already this season. We won 2-0 at their place before winning 2-1 at Links Park so we know that we can do it and it would be great to make it three.

"We have had a couple of draws recently and if we are to climb the table then we need to start turning draws into wins. Hopefully we can do that in this game."
