Ward without five for clash
Albion Rovers entertain Peterhead at Cliftonhill with manager James Ward missing up to five players with Peter Innes (leg), Kevin Nicoll (hamstring) and Barry Russell (ankle) ruled out and Michael Dunlop and David Crawford both facing fitness tests.
Ward said: "There is no point moaning about injuries as every team gets them so we will just get on with things. We played really well when we defeated East Stirling last weekend so we are looking to build on that performance.
"We have disappointed at home in our last two games and it would be good to start addressing that. It will not be as Peterhead are a very strong side."
Peterhead head to Cliftonhill without midfielder Stephen O'Neill in their pool after his loan deal from Aberdeen expired without an agreement reached to extend his stay.
A knee injury keeps Callum MacDonald out and Ryan Strachan remains absent with an ankle problem with Balmoor manager Jim McInally looking for better from his side after last Saturday's 2-1 defeat from Montrose.
McInally said: "Standards slipped last week and we paid the price for it. We need to up them again and keep them high especially against an Albion Rovers team that are a big and strong side."
