McLean had previously been with Norwich City in the Championship before moving to Falkirk Stadium.
The 20-year-old Scott has returning to Brechin on a one-year deal having been on loan from Third Division outfit Albion Rovers last season.
He had begun his career with Clyde before moving to Coatbridge.
