Albion get that Loving feeling

A Robert Love double gave Albion their first back-to-back wins of the season in a 2-0 triumph at Forfar.

John Gemmell looked most likely to score early on for the visitors, but volleyed over from close-range 10 minutes in.

Love opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, coolly sliding Simon Marriott's through ball past Greg Paterson.

The striker, who scored a last-minute winner in the reverse fixture in August, grabbed his second after an Alan Reid throw-in caused confusion in the Forfar box.

Gemmell again came close for Albion, forcing Paterson into a smart save from the edge of the box.

Forfar had no answer and slipped to their fifth winless game on the bounce.
