Peterhead kept their impressive run of form going with another victory. Scott Michie scored his sixth double of the season to ensure the Blue Toon remain Scotland's only unbeaten team.

A poor first half saw Rovers create an early chance, Graeme McLaren heading over after four minutes.

The home side had a couple of chances themselves, Keith Gibson shooting wide after nine minutes and Martin Bavidge seeing his 18th minute shot blocked.

They went in front after 33 minutes following a goalmouth scramble. The ball was never properly cleared after a corner and Robbie Raeside shot home from eight yards.

Just before half-time, Bavidge cut the ball back from the by-line to the left of goal and Michie scored from close range.

Four minutes after the break Rovers brought the game to life with a goal from the penalty spot, John Bradford scoring after Raeside had conceded a foul.

Peterhead restored their two-goal lead in the 57th minute, Scott Robertson setting up Michie who scored his 13th league goal of the season from 16 yards.

The home side continuted to press and scored again after 67 minutes. Michie sent in a low driven cross from the right side of the penalty area and Rover's Jamie McGowan fired the ball into his own net.
